The Leaf that Wouldn’t Let Go

A single autumn leaf clings to the branch of its tree while all the other leaves flutter away with the wind. Afraid of what lies beyond, the little leaf resists the natural pull of the seasons. But as the branch grows bare and winter settles in, it begins to wonder if holding on too tightly is the wrong kind of bravery. In the end, it lets goand discovers that falling isn’t the end at all, but the beginning of something new. (Includes twist: the story is told entirely from the leaf’s perspective)
