Elsie owns an umbrella that stubbornly refuses to open in the rain. Frustrated, she learns to walk through the rain without it, slowly overcoming her fear of getting wet and being seen as “unprepared.” Eventually, the umbrella opens againbut by then, Elsie realizes she doesn’t need it.
